Services

Pick the problem. I'll own the solution.

Four ways I help founders and product teams, from first commit to long-term support.

“Your product idea is stuck in a backlog”

SaaS & MVP development

From zero to a paying-customer-ready product: the boring, critical parts done right the first time.

  • Auth, teams, roles and admin dashboards
  • Stripe subscriptions and billing
  • Next.js + Laravel or Node.js, PostgreSQL
  • CI/CD, Docker and production deployment

“Competitors are shipping AI features and you aren't”

AI integration

Practical AI inside your existing product: features your users actually use, not demos.

  • RAG search over your own data (pgvector)
  • In-app assistants and LLM-powered workflows
  • AI agents with OpenAI and Claude APIs
  • Cost, latency and quality monitoring
More about ai integration →

“Your legacy app is slow, fragile and nobody wants to touch it”

Legacy rescue & modernization

I take over existing PHP, Laravel, Yii and WordPress codebases, stabilize them and move them forward without a risky rewrite.

  • Codebase and infrastructure audit
  • Performance and database optimization
  • Incremental upgrades and test coverage
  • Paying down technical debt safely
More about legacy rescue & modernization →

“Your team wastes hours on manual work between tools”

Integrations & automation

Connect your systems and let software do the repetitive work.

  • Payment gateways: Stripe, Plaid and more
  • Third-party APIs, webhooks and data sync
  • Scrapers, background jobs and bots
  • Internal dashboards and reporting

Testimonials

Many clients have worked with me for years.

“Andrew took over a Laravel codebase three agencies had given up on. Within two months page loads dropped from 6 seconds to under one, and we finally shipped features again.”
Jane CooperCTO, Acme Analytics
“He built our MVP in eight weeks: auth, teams, Stripe billing, the works. We onboarded our first paying customers the week after launch.”
Robert FoxFounder, Brightlane
“The AI search he added on top of our docs is now the most used feature in the product. He explained every trade-off in plain English.”
Emily CarterHead of Product, Northwind Labs
“Rare combination: senior-level architecture thinking and the discipline to ship small, tested increments every week.”
Michael BrooksVP of Engineering, Globex Health
“Communication was better than with our in-house team. Clear estimates, daily async updates and zero surprises on the invoice.”
Sarah MitchellCOO, Initech Logistics
“We've worked with Andrew for four years now. He's effectively our fractional tech lead and the first person we call.”
David KimCEO, Umbrella Commerce

FAQ

Questions US clients usually ask.

You're in Ukraine. How does the time zone work?

I overlap with US business hours every weekday (9am–1pm ET) for calls and quick decisions, and reply to messages within 24 hours. Async updates mean you wake up to progress.

How do you charge?

Fixed price for well-defined scopes, a monthly retainer for ongoing work, or hourly for open-ended tasks. You get an estimate before any work starts.

How do contracts and payments work?

We can work through Upwork with its escrow protection, or directly with a contract and invoices paid via Stripe or bank transfer.

Who owns the code?

You do. All code, designs and IP created for your project are yours, and I'm happy to sign an NDA before we talk details.

Can you work with my existing team or codebase?

Yes. Taking over and improving existing codebases is a large part of my work, and I regularly collaborate with in-house developers, designers and product managers.

What if I'm not sure what I need yet?

Start with a code & architecture audit, or just send a short brief describing the problem. I'll help you figure out the smallest valuable next step.

Tell me about your product. I'll tell you how I'd approach it.

Send a short brief and get an estimate within 24 hours, no sales pitch. You'll get honest advice even if we don't end up working together.
